چکیده
(1) Arsenic fungi are more numerous than was previously supposed. Some saprophytic species common in the soil are active in the production of arsenical gases. (2) Arsenic tolerant forms include many species which do not decompose arsenic compounds with the evolution of gases. (3) Arsenical substances carried to the soil come in contact with decomposing agents, which tend to break them into volatile or quickly soluble forms. Accumulation of arsenic in the soil may be expected to occur only when massive amounts are used or under special conditions unfavorable to the development of a varied microflora. (4) The disintegration of arsenical compounds may be caused by a considerable variety of fungi. Presumably, therefore, it is of sufficiently common occurrence to warrant the avoidance of arsenical preservatives for materials to be utilized in enclosed areas.

Background: This work evaluated the efficiency of common ultrasound stimulation (U.S.S) types on bacterial growth in vitro using clinically relevant conditions. Objective: To estimate different frequencies ultrasound bactericidal ability on bacteria in bacteria of Pseudomonas Aeruginosa. Methods: Six types of U.S.S (continuous wave, 7w/cm2, 20 KHz; continuous wave, 35w/0.8L, 40 KHz; continuous ...
متن کاملDevelopmental expression of tyrosine kinase b in rat vestibular nuclear neurons responding to horizontal and vertical linear accelerations
Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) is known to be crucial for the development of peripheral vestibular neurons. However, the maturation profile of the BDNF signal transducing receptor, tyrosine kinase B (TrkB) in functionally activated otolith-related vestibular nuclear neurons of postnatal rats remains unexplored. In the present study, conscious Sprague-Dawley rats (P4 to adult) were sub...

Background: One consequence of diabetes mellitus is increased inflammation, which is exacerbated by training. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of eight weeks of aerobic moderate-intensity continuous training on Interleukin-1 beta, Interleukin-13 responses in male Wistar diabetic rats. Methods: 36 diabetic rats were randomly assigned into 3 equal groups (control (C), diabe...
